  • "I worked as a teacher for twelve years in Memphis, TN. I believed in pursuing the America Dream, but what I got instead was the American Debt. I had $30,000 in student loans, and I was working all the time. I now have the peace and freedom I have wanted all my life through Worldventures."
"Within fifteen months I matched my income as an educator and decided to pursue WV full-time. Now I have peace of mind!"

  • "When we began with WorldVentures, we were hoping to achieve financial freedom. But as we’ve done that, we’ve come to understand that success is less about how you use it to benefit yourself, and more about how you use it to help others. So, now, our goal is to help everyone who’s serious about WorldVentures achieve financial freedom."

  • "I've been on over fifteen vacations in the past few years, and I even met my fiance, Kristen, through WorldVentures. In fact, I proposed to her in Paris, France right beneath the Eiffel Tower! We now have total time freedom, a BMW that's paid for through WV, and my life is completely different thanks to this opportunity."

  • "I have always had a huge heart for loving children all over the world, and helping Third World countries build churches. I joined WorldVentures because I realized it could help me do that. I have been blessed to be mentored by leaders in WorldVentures who had a level of freedom unlike anything I had ever seen."
"I spent nearly a month in Africa on a mission trip and still received a paycheck from WV each week. I went from driving a beat up Jeep to driving a beautiful BMW, and from being a quiet girl, to a woman who speaks with passion!"

  • "I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to be when I was growing up. I just knew that I was supposed to do something great and significant. I’ve always had a burning desire to separate myself from the crowd, to be different, and I wanted to be anything but average. I wanted to be a champion with whatever I did, and honor God in the process."

  • Returning to my home...

    Bottle School #35

"I was apprehensive about returning to Guatemala. I was born in Guatemala, yet I've lived in the U.S. most of my life. My apprehension about returning to Guatemala was because as a child I witnessed a lot of corruption, greed and injustice there. However, I chose to return because of the opportunity to travel with a group of people I trusted, and to build a school for the children of the same communities I grew up in. I was so amazed with what I experienced, that I went back a second time to build a second school. Building two different schools not only gave hope to the children, it also helped me understand who I am, and what my true purpose in life is. I went from feeling lost, to discovering my true identity. My experience described in one word: Metamorphosis!"

  • A deeper understanding...

    Bottle School #35

"This may sound cliche but, I never thought I would have the chance to contribute to humanity like I did in Guatemala. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children, and knowing that the school I helped build for them would not only affect them but generations beyond. I returned home uplifted, and with a new sense of myself. I also came back with a much deeper appreciation for the educational opportunities my own children experience here in the U.S."

  • In a word...shifted

Liberia Clean Water Initiative and Bottle School #30

"I thought I was too busy to take time to volunteer in another country. I have a son, and a very full schedule, but I made the decision to not let that hold me back. Being involved with our Voluntourism efforts has been the best experience of my life! Especially going to Liberia! Today I am the person I am because of that experience; a better mom, a better role model...a better person. I went to Liberia because I thought they needed me, but what I realized is that I needed them just as much. It's hard to express but, something inside me shifted. I've done four different voluntourism trips, and I'll continue to do more."

  • I'll return every year...

    Bottle School #30

"My first Bottle School trip to Guatemala was in July 2013. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, and I went primarily because my daughter wanted to go, and I was supporting her. It's funny how God works though, because I did not realize that I was missing something from my life until this trip. I cannot express how much a mission trip can change not only the lives of others but your own life. I'm bringing my entire family with me on my second trip in May 2014, and I plan on doing at least one trip every year after. To say this trip was extraordinary is an understatement...it changed my life."

  • More than a dream come true...

    Bottle School #25

"I flew over eight thousand miles...all the way from Singapore to be a part of this trip. I had no idea what to expect, but it's always been a dream of mine to one day give my time and financial support to others in need. Because of my experience of building a Bottle School in Guatemala, I realize there is a whole new level of 'giving' to others that goes beyond time and money. Knowing we can make such a big difference in the world is a great feeling, and I want to do even more!"

  • A priceless experience...

    Bottle Schools #27&#34

"Before I booked the trip I was a little nervous about what to expect. I wondered if the food would be safe to eat, or the accommodations okay? These are normal things I think most people that have never been to Guatemala might be concerned with. I have to say, my experience was truly unforgettable. The food was outstanding, and the hotels were far better than I expected. Building a Bottle School in Guatemala is a humbling and powerful experience. Being immersed in a culture so unlike our own has provided me with a perspective on life that both my husband and I will pass on to our own children one day."
